Payment

All merchandise is tax-free until further notice. We prefer PayPal but will also accept Postal money orders and credit cards. Payment must be received before we can ship your order. All money orders must be in US dollars.

Shipping

We ship all orders by Canada Post within 1-2 business days of receiving payment. Canada Post does not offer free tracking numbers like the US Postal Service does but they are able to locate packages in their system if they were to not arrive (we have never needed to use this function since everything has arrived safely to-date). If you would like to purchase a traditional tracking number for your order, it can be added for an additional $7. In rare cases (esp one-of-a-kind items, like bismuth crystal pendants), tracking is already included in the shipping price and this is stated in the descriptions for those items.

Expedited shipping by Canada Post is available upon request for an additional fee. Contact me with: a) Your desired shipping address and b) The date you need your order by if you would like to know what expedited shipping will cost prior to placing your order.

Normal transit times (once your order has been shipped) are:

- Canada: 2-5 business days

- USA: 7-10 business days

- International: 2-4 weeks

*Please allow additional time if your order is placed during peak holiday shopping season (esp. in December!). I cannot expedite orders if they are already in the mail so please plan ahead. 


If you have not received your order within the expected time frame please contact me and I will let you know what remedies are available to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible.

*Attention International Customers! 
We are not responsible for import taxes, tariffs and fees for importing our products into your country. You must pay all fees levied by your country on your purchase yourself. By completing your purchase, you accept that responsibility. Contact your country's customs/import office for more information on rules, regulations and limits imposed by your country, prior to purchasing. 

Refunds & Returns

Refunds & Returns

Strict quality control standards are in place to ensure that every piece is shipped out in perfect condition and this includes complimentary polishing on the day prior to shipping. However, if you do experience a problem... 


Items from our regular inventory (anything that is not custom jewelry) may be returned within 30 days (of delivery) for a full refund or, repaired free of charge if damaged during shipping. We are responsible for additional shipping charges if your item arrives damaged (broken during shipping), in the event the item must be returned for repair or a replacement sent. Exchanges are available upon request but the customer will be responsible for additional shipping charges where exchanges are desired for non-defective merchandise. Items returned to us for refund or exchange must be returned in their original condition and it is strongly recommended that boxed items ship back to us in their original boxes, for their protection in transit. 


We cannot accept the return of post earrings (for hygienic reasons since jewelry made for a piercing can only be sold if unworn). For other types of earrings with removable findings, we will deduct the cost of replacing those findings from refunds to cover the cost of restoring them to their original unworn (piercing) condition.


We reserve the right to refuse service to, and cancel orders placed by individuals with a history of multiple returns of non-defective merchandise. This is to protect us and our customers against the practice of "wardrobing". 


*CLARIFICATION: Custom orders are NOT eligible for return/refund (because they were made just for you, to your precise specifications and can not be re-sold as part of our regular inventory) but they may be repaired free of charge if damaged in-transit (we will cover shipping costs to send the item back for repair). Photos of custom orders may be taken in our studio (upon request) and sent to you prior to shipping to ensure your satisfaction with the finished product.This a) documents the original (pre-shipping) condition of the item and b) gives you added peace of mind that the piece you are buying meets (or exceeds) your expectations.

Problems?

If you have a problem with your purchase, please use contact us and make sure your receipt is attached to your message. This helps us identify exactly what you purchased, when the transaction occurred, tracking number(s) and applicable remedies available (within the parameters of our policies) to us to resolve your issue. If you did not receive a receipt from PayPal or Google for your purchase when you checked out, we have not received your payment. Please let us know if you are having trouble checking out. 

Charitable Donations

Heather Jordan Jewelry does not donate jewelry or funds to charitable fundraisers unless we are participating in the same event. This is done to oversee and protect the contributions we do make to various causes and ensure appropriate use of our gifts. Please do not approach us with requests for donations if we are not participating in your fundraiser.
