Wire-Wrapped Raw Ethiopian Desert Opal Pendant Necklace in Oxidized Sterling Silver with Ethiopian Welo Opals

This gorgeous, rich pendant was made with a solid, Ethiopian desert opal, still in it's natural matrix with a polished front face, woven in solid Sterling silver wire with three fiery Ethiopian opals, set in delicate herringbone weaves. The gorgeous honey tones of the stone come to life with a vivid trail of fire sparks, cascading down the front of the stone. All of the opals emit deep fire with pops of blue, green, yellow, orange and red as the stone turns in the light-- truly a delight! The wire was oxidized naturally with egg yolk, then sealed in clear lacquer to resist tarnish and protect the aged finish of the piece over time. The pendant comes suspended on an 18" Sterling silver chain and measures 39x28x17mm (1.5" x 1.1" x 0.7"). This is a one-of-a-kind item and there won't ever be another like it. It is rare to find welo opals set in antiqued Sterling silver because polishing is such a delicate process.

This piece comes in a luxurious, black velvet jeweler's box, contained in a cardboard outer shell (so you can wrap the box without damaging the velvet); perfect for gift-giving! This is an heirloom-quality piece you can treasure for many years to come! This ships fully-insured and with international tracking, for your convenience and peace of mind.

This is a one-of-a-kind piece and there won't ever be another. Don't let someone else snap it up first!
